Lowbrow Films

The faint wind whispering through this empty theater created a dark omnipresence to this all Flash showcase for Los Angeles based Lowbrow Films. It was the perfect compliment to writing / directing duo Heath Mattioli and Dave Spacone's gritty, lo-fi approach to filmmaking.

Outside of the basic "about" and "contact" pages, this site had a fully integrated Flash video platform - way before its time. This site was a clean, simple and effectively branded place on the web to show off their completed pieces for VANS, TheStart, Go Betty Go, Brant Bjork as well as some (later silenced) clips from an infamous motorcycle club documentary.
